Julys Recommendation

Margaret Rutherford, a British gem who along with her other infamous roles was my favorite, Miss Marple. Ms Rutherford only made four Agatha Christie movies, but each one bought a little something extra to the character of Miss Marple. Margaret Rutherfords impersonation of this famous character is my favorite, she bought spunk and sassy attitude to the character and portrayed Miss Marple as a woman ahead of her time. Out of the four movies my favorite is "Murder, She Said" taken from Agatha Christies 4:50 from Paddington and is the first of the four that she made. I highly recommend watching this movie if you like Agatha Christie stories. Made in 1961, Miss Marple on her way home on a train witnesses a murder on a passing train, then follows the clues to a manor house inhabited by a arguing family. She takes a job as a domestic, and is on the spot when the murderer strikes again. Appearing along side Margaret Rutherford is Stringer Davis who plays her long time friend and sleuth partner Mr. Stringer, Arthur Kennedy and Muriel Pavlow
